The Paid Memberships Pro – Signup Shortcode Add On is a Standard Add On that allows you to easily create a signup form for your membership site. You can add this shortcode to any page, post, or widget.
With shortcode attributes, you have control over the signup fields displayed. You can choose to show specific fields, automatically generate fields like username or password, and even enable automatic login and redirection after form submission.
Please note that in order to use this Add On, you must have the Paid Memberships Pro plugin installed and activated with a valid license.
If you are using the WordPress Editor, simply add the shortcode to a Shortcode Block. Other page builders also support shortcodes using their respective page elements.
For free membership levels, the account is created and the member is automatically redirected to the specified redirect page. For non-free levels, users are taken to the membership checkout page to enter billing information.
Even for sites exclusively using the Signup Shortcode for free membership, you still need to assign pages to the Membership Levels and Membership Checkout settings in the WordPress admin.
