Description:

The Simple Quantity Discounts Add-on for GetPaid allows setting quantity discount pricing rules. It is aimed at sellers who want to offer customers a discount when they buy more than one piece of any of their items. The pricing rules are attached to individual GetPaid items, so each product can carry its own tiered discount structure.

Setup happens on the item itself. You create an item, give it a title, and set its main price. Discount levels are then entered in the Price Variation by Quantity field using a format that pairs a quantity threshold with a price, with each pair separated by a comma. In the example, an item called Yoga Lessons has a main price for single purchases, a lower per lesson price from five units, and a further reduced price from ten units.

On the frontend checkout, the discount is applied automatically. When a customer enters a quantity in the Quantity field, the price per item changes dynamically to match the tier that quantity falls into. Ordering six yoga lessons in the example switches the per lesson price to the rate for five to nine lessons, and the total is calculated from that reduced amount. Once the tiers are defined, the plugin handles the price change on its own.
