EffectIO Profile Builder - Multi-Step Forms Add-On 1.1.3

Description:

Profile Builder – Multi-Step Forms Add-On 1.1.3 is an extension for the Profile Builder plugin. Its purpose is to extend the functionality of Profile Builder by adding the possibility of having multi-page registration and edit-profile forms. This means that instead of presenting all fields on a single page, a form can be split across several pages, which applies both to the registration process and to the editing of an existing profile.

The add-on works on top of Profile Builder itself. It is not a standalone tool, so it relies on the base plugin being present and active on the site. Once installed alongside Profile Builder, it makes it possible to structure registration and edit-profile forms as multi-page forms rather than single-page ones. The same capability applies in both contexts, so a site owner who wants to divide a long registration form into steps can do so, and the same approach can be used for the form where users edit their profile information.

Because the add-on extends Profile Builder, it is intended for people who already use Profile Builder on their WordPress site and who want more flexibility in how their user-facing forms are laid out. Sites that collect a larger amount of information during registration or profile editing are the natural use case, since splitting such forms into multiple pages is exactly what this add-on enables. Anyone managing user registration and profile management through Profile Builder can benefit from this extension.

There is one important compatibility note stated in the source material. This plugin is compatible with Profile Builder version 2.5.1 or higher. Anyone considering the add-on should therefore make sure their installation of Profile Builder meets that minimum version before using the Multi-Step Forms Add-On. With that requirement satisfied, the add-on provides the added possibility of multi-page registration and edit-profile forms, extending what Profile Builder can do on its own and giving site owners an additional way to arrange their user forms across several pages instead of one.

• Adds the possibility of multi-page registration forms
• Adds the possibility of multi-page edit-profile forms
• Compatible with Profile Builder version 2.5.1 or higher
