Description:

PublishPress Future is a WordPress plugin for scheduling changes to posts, pages, and other content types. While editing a post, you select a future action date in the right sidebar, and the plugin carries out the chosen action automatically. Actions include changing the status to Draft or Private, deleting the post, sending it to the Trash, enabling or disabling the stick to the top of the blog option, and changing categories, replacing them or adding new ones. The plugin supports any post type, and default actions for each post type can be set under Settings, PublishPress Future, Defaults.

The plugin can automatically show the action or expiry date at the bottom of your articles. Shortcodes let you display the expiration date inside posts, with several formatting options for the output. Email notifications can be sent when content changes, controlled in the General Settings.

The Pro version adds Action Workflows, custom workflows with multiple steps and schedules. Examples include emailing the site admin when a post is updated, moving a post to the Trash a week after publication, or emailing the author a year later to check the content. The Pro version also supports integrations with Advanced Custom Fields and other plugins, and moving posts to a custom status. It suits WordPress sites that need content changes on a schedule.
