PublishPress Checklists Pro is a WordPress plugin that helps you make sure your content is ready to go live. You define tasks that must be completed before content is published, and each task can be configured to meet your site's needs, including maximum and minimum values. Writers see a checklist box next to every post and page showing the tasks they need to complete. Tasks can be recommended or required, and as authors complete each task, the red X automatically turns to a green checkmark.

The plugin supports a range of content tasks, such as requiring a minimum or maximum number of words, a featured image, a specific number of tags or categories, and approval by a user in a specific role. Publish date tasks can require a specific publish time or a publish date in the future. Image tasks can require ALT text for all images or a maximum and minimum number of images in the post.
