The add-on works with the existing summary and reviews shortcodes and blocks. When you enable the filters option in the summary shortcode or block, the rating bars become clickable. When you enable the filters option in the reviews shortcode or block, filter controls appear above the reviews. This means visitors can interact with the rating bars in the summary and use the controls above the review list to narrow down, search, and sort the reviews that are shown.

If you need additional customisation, you can use the dedicated filters shortcode or block. This option lets you easily hide any of the filter controls, so you can decide which controls are displayed on your site. The add-on gives you flexibility in how the filtering is presented, whether you rely on the built-in options in the summary and reviews shortcodes and blocks or prefer the standalone filters shortcode or block for finer control over the interface.
