Enhanced Metrics is an extension for Download Monitor that adds advanced download analytics to your WordPress dashboard. It requires the Download Monitor plugin to be installed and active. The extension is aimed at site owners and teams who need more than basic download counts, including marketing teams and businesses that manage large numbers of files.

You can compare download metrics across any two time periods with visual charts and percentage change indicators, using custom date ranges. Reports can be filtered by user, category, file type, date range, and download status. The extension tracks logged-in and guest downloads, distinguishes redirects from direct downloads, and monitors failed attempts. For logged-in users it shows which files each user downloads and how often, while guest downloads are captured with IP-based data and browser information according to your privacy settings.

All data can be exported as a CSV file with one click, and filtered views can be exported for targeted reports. The export includes file name, date, user info, download status, and source URL, and works with Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet applications.
