FacetWP Blocks is an add-on that adds facets to WordPress blocks post listings. It lets you display facets alongside supported WordPress blocks so visitors can filter listings on the page. The add-on works in both classic themes and block themes, which makes it suitable for sites that build their listings with the WordPress block editor.

The add-on supports several blocks that can be used to create FacetWP compatible listings. These include the WordPress Query Loop block with its Posts List and Latest Posts variations, the WP Query Loop block, the WooCommerce Products block, which is in beta and deprecated, the Product Collection block, and the GenerateBlocks Query (v1) and Query (v2) blocks. All of these blocks need to be enabled for FacetWP to be able to filter them.

A few notes apply when using these blocks. The Product Collection block comes with its own product filtering and pagination blocks, which are incompatible with FacetWP, so they should be removed and replaced with facets. When GenerateBlocks Pro is used, the Query (v2) block has a Query Type setting where only the Post Query option is supported, and FacetWP cannot filter post meta or options. This add-on is intended for FacetWP users who want facet filtering on block-based post listings, including WooCommerce stores and sites built with GenerateBlocks.
