Formidable Zapier is an add-on for Formidable Forms that connects your forms with hundreds of different applications through Zapier. With it, you can do things like insert a new row in a Google docs spreadsheet, post on Twitter, or add a new Dropbox file, all through a Formidable form. To use this add-on, you must set up a Zapier account.

After installing and activating Formidable Forms Premium on your WordPress site, you enable the Zapier plugin from the Add-Ons page and connect your Zapier account. In the Zap editor you select Formidable Forms as the trigger app, choose a trigger event such as a new or deleted entry, and connect your Formidable Forms account. Setup requires your API key, found on the Formidable Global Settings API tab, and your site URL, which must match the Site Address in your WordPress settings. Default permalinks will cause 404 errors when authorizing a Zap.

When a Zap is created, a form action is added automatically. You can name the action, trigger it when an entry is created or deleted, use conditional logic so it runs only when specific conditions are met, and schedule actions with Setup Automation. Entries from repeater fields can be sent using Formatter by Zapier. The Summary field cannot be passed to Zapier, and triggers on entry updates are not supported.
