GamiPress – Contact Form 7 is a free add-on that connects GamiPress with Contact Form 7, a free form-builder plugin that lets you easily build contact forms for your WordPress-powered website. The integration adds gamification to your Contact Form 7 submissions, with the goal of engaging your users to increase their activity on your website. It works automatically, adding new activity events to GamiPress once installed.

The add-on introduces four activity events. You can award activity when a user submits a form, when a user submits a specific form, when a user submits a specific field value, and when a user submits a specific field value on a specific form. This gives site owners fine control over which submissions trigger activity, whether they want to reward any form submission or only particular forms and field values.

One known limitation concerns form submission events not getting triggered. Forms submitted through ajax, the default workflow of Contact Form 7, cannot determine which current user is logged in, so events from this integration will not fire. The fix is to activate the subscribers-only mode on the forms you want to trigger events, or enable it for all forms with a filter in your functions.php. Note that forms with subscribers-only mode require users to stay logged in to submit, meaning visitors cannot submit those forms.
