Description:
GP Blocklist is a Gravity Forms plugin that validates field values against the WordPress Disallowed Comment Keys list. The check can be enabled on a single field, on multiple fields, or on every field in a form. When a submitted value fails validation, the user sees an error stating that the field contains disallowed words. Blocked words are managed in WordPress under Settings, Discussion, one entry per line, and the same list applies to comments.
Beyond words and phrases, the plugin can block submissions from specific IP addresses and from IP ranges written in CIDR notation. Uses include spam filters for unwanted submissions, email and domain block rules, field-level policy enforcement, restrictions on reserved usernames such as admin and staff terms, and prevention of leaked, expired, or unauthorized promo codes. A honeypot option rejects entries silently, without notifying the user that the entry was blocked.
The plugin suits builders who use Gravity Forms and need to stop spam or control what users enter. For a single field, the setting is on the Perks tab. For the whole form, it is in the Restrictions section of the form settings. Documentation covers user-agent checking, changing the validation message, excluding hidden fields, and setting the blocklist by field value. Updates arrive in the dashboard, and support is available by message.
The vendor’s own page for GP Blocklist has the full details.
