Description:

MEC Advanced Map is an add-on for the Modern Events Calendar WordPress plugin, made for sites that present events and want a map view. It requires MEC Pro. The add-on creates a shortcode for a map view in two popular styles, including OpenStreetMap as an alternative to Google Maps, and it can display filters and events next to the map in a new view. Options such as Street and Region support detailed and precise filtering.

Next and previous buttons move through events based on geographic coordinates, a search option covers all address fields, and complete address information helps visitors find a location. Additional locations can be shown on the single event page, the default location can be set by dragging the map, and the Side Style layout offers a user-friendly experience. Address fields can be added to the frontend submission form, and event lists at a location can be opened on the Google Maps website.

Clustering markers make locations on Google Maps easier to find, the mouse wheel can be used to zoom in on the map, and zoom levels can be selected for single event maps and other shortcodes. Optional filters can divide map shortcodes and place them side by side. The OpenStreet service can also be enabled to show a location's perimeter.
