Description:
Modal Survey is a WordPress plugin for collecting feedback from website visitors through polls, surveys, quizzes and tests. It supports trivia quizzes, quizzes with images, star-based reviews, product recommendations, questionnaires with scores, personality tests, customer satisfaction surveys and multiple answer questions. There is no limit on the number of surveys, questions and answers, and the plugin organizes them in a structured layout. Surveys appear with an animated display and adapt to different screen sizes.
Surveys are built in the WordPress admin area with a visual builder that includes a live preview, so no coding knowledge is required. They can be embedded directly into content through a shortcode and set to appear when the reader reaches that point, or to show immediately. An onClick event option displays the survey as a popup instead. Width, colors, sizes and alignments can be customized, and layouts include a classic list layout and a grid layout, plus popup mode and social sharing buttons. Each survey can have a start time and an expiry time, set down to the minute with a date picker.
Results can be shown as animated charts and bars, such as pie, bar, horizontal bar, polar, line, radar and doughnut charts, as well as a progress bar, or as plain text output. A participants page provides detailed statistics for every participant with charts. Surveys can be exported to PDF, CSV, XLS, JSON, TXT and XML, and imported from JSON.
Answers can be marked as correct to build quizzes, and scores can be assigned to answers to create personality tests with detailed results. A link, such as a download, can be offered at the end of a survey so that more users fill it out. The screen lock option covers the page with a dark background so visitors can only see the website content after answering all questions. The plugin has been tested on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera, and it comes with detailed documentation and a support forum. It is aimed at WordPress site owners who want feedback from visitors on their articles and posts.
