Description:
PeepSo Block Theme is a product from PeepSo, Inc., a United States company that builds community software for WordPress. The product sits within a wider PeepSo ecosystem that includes the core PeepSo plugin, a free version, a mobile app, and the PeepSo Power Suite. The tagline used by the vendor is "Your Community. Your Way." and the Block Theme is described on the vendor page as the best thing to ever happen to WordPress. The theme is intended to work alongside PeepSo's community features, which include an activity stream, members, groups, pages, and a blog.
The vendor positions PeepSo across a range of use cases. These include e-commerce, e-learning, digital commerce, paid memberships, online communities, online marketplaces, job boards, advanced advertising, and donations. This means the theme and the surrounding platform are aimed at site owners who want to run a community around a business or interest, whether that is selling courses, running a membership site, hosting a marketplace, or building a job board. The vendor also compares PeepSo directly with competing solutions such as BuddyBoss, BuddyPress, UltimateMember, and FluentCommunity, which suggests the product is meant for buyers evaluating community options for WordPress.
Beyond the software itself, PeepSo offers a set of services. These cover custom development, installation and configuration, installation and configuration for established websites, website automation, testing and monitoring, and SMTP setup. Support is handled through a system that includes a FAQ, personal tickets, documentation, system requirements, and what the vendor calls Fanatical Support. There is also a PeepSo demo site where the product can be tried, along with a blog and resources on migrating an existing community to PeepSo.
The company behind the product also maintains other projects, namely SwipeWP for online dating on WordPress, Awedesk for customer support, and Awecommerce as an ecommerce solution. PeepSo works with third party software and maintains an agency partner program and an affiliate program. The vendor publishes a changelog with each latest release, a brand manual, and a range of policies covering licensing, privacy, support, refunds, community guidelines, the mobile app, and hosting terms and conditions.
The vendor’s own page for PeepSo Block Theme has the full details.
