This add-on integrates Contact Form 7 with AutomatorWP. Contact Form 7 is a free form-builder plugin for building advanced forms on WordPress-powered websites. The integration lets form submissions start automations, connecting Contact Form 7 with other WordPress plugins.
Automations are built from triggers, actions and tags. Free triggers fire when a user or a guest submits a form, and pro triggers fire when a user or a guest submits a field value on a form. The add-on includes no actions; instead, a field value tag lets you use any submitted form field value in actions from other AutomatorWP integrations. Sample automations include resetting user quiz attempts on a form submission, adding a membership when a field gets a specific value, and awarding points when a user picks a specific option of a specific field.
It is for WordPress site owners who want Contact Form 7 submissions to drive automations. Forms submitted through ajax, the default Contact Form 7 workflow, cannot determine the logged-in user, so triggers may not complete. Enable subscribers-only mode per form in Additional Settings with subscribers_only: true, or for all forms with a filter in functions.php. With that mode, users must stay logged in to submit and visitors cannot. To find field identifiers for the form_field tag, run a test automation, submit the form, and check the Fields Submitted section in the log entry.
