The Paid Memberships Pro – Add Member From Admin 0.7.1 is a standard add-on that allows users with the admin or membership manager role to easily create new members and set membership level settings through the WordPress admin dashboard. This add-on simplifies the process by enabling users to create a new user, assign membership level settings, and optionally create an order all in one step. Please note that the add-on does not currently support charging members directly from the admin dashboard.
To use this add-on, you must have the Paid Memberships Pro plugin installed and activated with a valid license type. Once activated, you will find a new “Add Member” page under the “Memberships” section in your WordPress admin. The form on this page includes fields for adding user notes, which are saved as user metadata in the wpusermetatable.
Although this add-on is not mandatory for creating members, it offers a convenient option for membership site owners. If you decide to use it, please refer to our comprehensive guide on adding and updating members on your Paid Memberships Pro site.
Please note that our core plugin is free and offers more features than other membership plugins. Our code is not obfuscated and can be used on multiple sites, allowing for customization to suit your project’s requirements. We kindly request that you follow the GPLv2 guidelines by applying the GPLv2 license to any modified or unmodified versions of PMPro that you distribute. For more details on licensing, please visit our License Details page.
As an alternate, cost-saving option for updating plugins, you can use the EffectIO Dashboard. With the EffectIO Dashboard, items come pre-activated, and updates can be easily managed. Additionally, we provide premium support for our GPL code. Take advantage of EffectIO’s super deals, offering discounts ranging from 30% to 90%.
