If you use Post SMTP as SMTP plugin
If you are using the Post SMTP plugin as your SMTP plugin, it is important to note that the return path set in Newsletter plugin Main Settings is not respected. An option is available to set the return address in Post SMTP, which needs to be configured correctly.
How to Configure this Addon
This addon requires the configuration of a dedicated mailbox email address where all error messages will be collected. The mailbox should be accessible using the POP3 protocol. Instructions on configuring a generic mail client can be found in your provider’s documentation.

The Bounce addon checks the mailbox every hour and processes up to 1000 messages. However, please note that this frequency may vary depending on your website’s resource usage, particularly if you are running intensive background processes like sending newsletters to a large list.
