Description:

Swift Box is a WordPress contents slider plugin that takes contents from different sources and displays them together in a single environment. Each box can have unlimited sources, and the plugin automatically fetches the latest contents and sorts them by date. You can mix contents from any RSS feed, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, and WordPress posts from one, more, or any categories. Any WordPress custom post type is supported as well, as long as it is public and associated with a taxonomy. Post excerpts can be used to show different contents in the box initial mode, and Zapier can be used to create RSS feeds from other web sources such as Facebook and Instagram.

The plugin offers an expanded mode where shortened contents can be fully shown by expanding the box container or through a lightbox. It is fully responsive, adaptive, and mobile optimized, with touch and drag interactions supported on desktop and mobile. A source offset can be set to skip first news items or to compose multi-box setups, such as a grid of three boxes showing nine different contents from the same source.

Every element is customizable with more than 40 options in the builder, checked immediately in the preview. Display modes include vertical and horizontal, plus a horizontal image mode, boxed layout, commands nestable in eight different positions, lightbox integration, and date format settings. Fetched contents can be filtered by stripping unnecessary html tags, slider timings are fully manageable, and a continuous slider effect is available for breaking news bars.
