Description:

This product is a payment addon for WP Travel Engine, a plugin for trip bookings. The addon connects WP Travel Engine with the PayHere Payment Gateway so that trip bookings can be checked out and paid for using that gateway. In practice, it covers the payment side of the booking flow: a customer who books a trip on a site running WP Travel Engine completes checkout through PayHere.

The addon is aimed at site owners who use WP Travel Engine to run trip bookings and who want PayHere as the payment gateway at checkout. It is not a standalone product. It works on top of WP Travel Engine, and its stated job is to enable checkout of trip bookings through the PayHere Payment Gateway. Because of that dependency, the addon is relevant to sites where WP Travel Engine is already in use.

There is one requirement to note. The addon requires the WP Travel Engine plugin, version 3.0.5 or later, to be installed and activated on the site. Older versions of WP Travel Engine do not meet this requirement, so the plugin should be at version 3.0.5 or above before the addon is used. With that condition met, the addon lets a site take trip booking checkout through the PayHere Payment Gateway.
