Trip Reviews version 2.1.5 is an extension for WP Travel Engine, the WordPress plugin aimed at travel agencies and tour operators. Once activated, the extension adds a Trip Reviews sub-menu and a Review Tab to the site. These additions create the places where reviews are written and handled.

Admins, meaning the travel agencies and tour operators who run the site, can add reviews from two different locations. The first is the Trip Reviews sub-menu. The second is the Review Tab. Because both entry points exist, an admin can add a review from whichever one fits the situation at the time, whether that is the sub-menu or the tab.

Travelers take part as well. Users can add reviews to individual trips from the Review Tab on the frontend of the site, so feedback on a given trip comes directly from the travelers themselves. Each review is tied to one specific trip. Once reviews have been added, the admin can later approve or unapprove them, so the final decision about each review rests with the admin.
