Description:
WPC Product Image Swap for WooCommerce is a plugin for WooCommerce shops that adds swapping effects to product images on archive and shop pages or special product listings. When a buyer hovers the mouse over a product, the main featured image is replaced by another picture from the product gallery. This gives visitors a quick preview of products and available options without leaving the current page, saving clicks and reducing navigation back and forth. Sellers can use it to draw attention to products, showcase options, finishes and colors dynamically, and help customers compare options and make decisions faster.
The plugin offers two styles. The Basic style, available in the free version, replaces the featured image with the first gallery picture and supports 27+ animation styles such as fade, bounce, flip, rotate, roll, zoom and slide for the IN and OUT transitions. The Slider style, part of the Premium version, switches between the featured image and all other gallery images and adds 33+ slider animations, horizontal or vertical direction, control arrows, a Pause/Play button, pause on hover, slideshow autoplay and configurable slideshow speed.
Effects can be enabled or disabled on mobile devices and configured storewide or at product level, where a custom set of pictures can be chosen. The plugin works with common WordPress themes and WooCommerce add-ons, and Premium users receive customization support for external themes and plugins. Performance depends on image file size and gallery count, and the number of swapped images can be limited to protect loading speed.
The vendor’s own page for WPC Product Image Swap for WooCommerce (Premium) has the full details.
