EffectIO PeepSo Groups 9.0.2.0

Description:

PeepSo Groups is the groups feature of PeepSo, a social network plugin that runs on a standard WordPress install. This listing covers version 9.0.2.0. With it, members of a WordPress site can join groups and post and comment inside them. The vendor's own community page shows groups such as Support, Suggestions, Showcase and Third Party, each with a member count.

The plugin is aimed at anyone building an online community on WordPress. The vendor lists use cases that include e-commerce, e-learning, digital commerce, paid memberships, online marketplaces, job boards, advanced advertising and donations. Member data, profiles and group activity live in the site owner's own WordPress database, on their own server, and the vendor states that nobody can throttle it or take it away. The vendor describes the setup as working the same for 100 members or 100,000.

PeepSo has been downloaded and used on more than 500,000 sites, according to the vendor, and is developed by PeepSo, Inc., a United States company. Groups sit alongside other PeepSo features named on the vendor site, including the activity stream, members, pages and blog. The company also runs its own community of 161,188 active members, where builders swap ideas, get support and talk to the development team.

The vendor’s own page for PeepSo Groups has the full details.
