wpDiscuz Embeds is an add-on for the wpDiscuz commenting plugin. It allows users to embed hundreds of video, social network, audio and photo content providers directly in comments and replies. The addon includes all embedding options of the oEmbed Project and gives extended control over all video providers. It is intended for site owners who use wpDiscuz and want to let their community share rich content in the discussion area.

The addon supports more than 30 video providers, including Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Rutube, Vevo, Metacafe, Liveleak, Youku, Putlocker, Veoh and others. Image providers include Flickr, Instagram, GettyImages and Mobypicture. Audio, social network and other providers include SoundCloud, Twitter, Facebook, WordPress.com, Reddit and PollDaddy. This lets users watch videos, view pictures and share audio or social content without leaving the comment section.

Installation works like any other WordPress plugin. The addon requires at least wpDiscuz version 7.0.0 and should not be installed on lower versions. After checkout you receive a license key by email or through your account page, which you insert during activation. Configuration is done under Dashboard, wpDiscuz, Settings, Addons Tab, Embeds subTab. wpDiscuz itself is a free, AJAX controlled, real time, flexible and responsive commenting plugin available on WordPress.org.
