Description:
WordPress Store Locator puts stores, dealers, branches, offices or service centres on a map, and is used on 50,000 WordPress sites. Visitors search by address, postcode, city, state, country or store name, can use their current location, see which nearby locations are open right now, and get directions. OpenStreetMap, Stadia Maps, Mapbox and Google Maps are supported from one dropdown, and stores, search forms, templates, shortcodes and add-ons work the same on each.
Results can be sorted by distance, city, state, country or ID, a country or state search returns every location in it, and the nearest store can be shown if nothing is in range. Each location gets its own page with a chosen slug, holding the map, address, hours, directions, phone, email, description and featured image, so search engines can index one page per store. Categories get archive pages, and permanently closed stores keep their pages.
Marker Studio, an appearance editor and a template section editor replace CSS overrides in the admin, and a fields manager adds custom fields to every store. Opening hours cover temporary closures, holiday hours and free-text schedules. Location data loads in a single batch, OpenStreetMap searches are cached on your own server, and the map can wait for visitor consent. Keyboard navigation, screen reader support and right-to-left layouts are built in.
The vendor’s own page for WordPress Store Locator has the full details.
