Description:
WPDM Default Values is an add-on for WordPress Download Manager that lets you set default values for new packages. You fill in your preferred settings once, and every new package you create, whether from the admin area or the front-end author dashboard, starts with those settings already filled in. You can still change them for any individual package.
The add-on covers a range of package settings. You can pre-fill the version, link label, stock limit, per-user download limit, view and download counts, package size, and the single file download option. You can set default access by choosing which user roles, or all visitors, can download new packages. You can also pick default link and page templates, which existing packages without a template will use as well. Default download locks include terms agreement, password, email, reCAPTCHA, social locks, and form locks, along with their settings. A default package icon can be set by URL or chosen from the built-in file type icons.
When a setting needs to change everywhere, the Update All button next to each setting applies it to every published package in batches that handle thousands of packages. You can also update any custom field by name in bulk. The add-on includes defaults for the Lazy Download and Form Lock add-ons and suits site owners who create many packages with the same settings.
The vendor’s own page for WPDM – Default Values has the full details.
