Description:
wpForo Emoticons is an addon for the wpForo forum plugin and requires wpForo 2.0.0 or higher. It was created after requests from users who found the default WordPress emoji set not so impressive, and it suits communities, chats, forums and blogs where smiles and emoticons are among the most used features. Version 3.0.1 adds PHP 8.2 compatibility.
The addon brings sticker and emoticon packages to forum posts, in six colors to fit the forum theme primary color, with 80 emoticons per color. One color is active by default and 45 of the most used emoticons are enabled, while the rest can be turned on in the dashboard. The Default Emoticons Pack, made by gVectors Team, is exclusive to their plugins, close to Emoji but with more expression and a unique design. Nice Green Pear and Funny Black Emo packs are included too.
An Emoticons/Sticker button appears at the bottom right side of the post editor and opens tabbed emoticon groups for easy choosing and inserting. In the dashboard, admins can manage groups, change group names and emoticon size, hide them in the front-end editor, create new groups, and add custom emoticons with custom names and codes. Each emoticon can be moved to another group, given a new image, name or code, reordered, and enabled or disabled.
The vendor’s own page for wpForo Emoticons has the full details.
