Description:
wpDiscuz Subscription Manager is an official addon for the wpDiscuz commenting plugin. The wpDiscuz plugin offers three subscription options in the comment section: notify on new comments, notify on replies to all of my comments, and notify on replies to this one comment. All of those subscriptions are saved in the database, but without this addon you have no access to them. With the addon installed, you can monitor and manage all subscribers directly from the dashboard, seeing every guest and user who has subscribed through any of those options.
The addon adds a Subscriptions submenu in the Comments menu section of the WordPress dashboard. This page displays all subscriptions together with the subscriber email, status, date, post title, and subscription type. It also shows numeric subscription statistics. You get bulk and individual management tools, with action buttons for each subscription that let you set it as confirmed, cancel the confirmation, unsubscribe the subscriber, or send an email to the subscriber. The email action opens a pop-up form that allows you to send a direct email to the subscriber. The list can be sorted by email, status, date, post title, and more, and filtering tools let you view subscriptions by status (confirmed or awaiting confirmation), by type (post, all comments, or this comment), by date, or by searching for a user email or post title.
A second submenu called Your Subscriptions is added to the Users menu section. It lists all of your own subscriptions and is fully sortable and manageable in the same way as the main subscriptions list. The addon also includes settings for automatically deleting subscriptions and follows older than a chosen number of days, either for all records or only unconfirmed ones, using a daily cron job.
This addon is for anyone running wpDiscuz who needs visibility and control over comment subscriptions. It requires at least wpDiscuz version 7.0.0 and should not be installed on lower versions. It installs like any other WordPress plugin: upload the ZIP file through the Plugins page, activate it, then manage subscribers under wpDiscuz Settings and your own subscriptions under Users.
The vendor’s own page for wpDiscuz – Subscription Manager has the full details.
