Description:
Advanced Ads Selling Ads is an add-on for the Advanced Ads plugin. Its purpose is stated plainly in the source material: it allows visitors to purchase ad space on your site directly. This means the process of buying an advertisement happens on your own website rather than through an external marketplace or a separate negotiation conducted by email. The visitor and the transaction stay on your site from start to finish.
The core of how it works follows from that single stated capability. A person visiting your site who wants to place an advertisement can do so themselves, without you acting as an intermediary for every request. Instead of handling each potential advertiser manually, you open the possibility for them to complete the purchase of ad space on their own. The add-on therefore shifts the buying step from a back-and-forth arrangement into something a visitor can carry out directly while browsing your pages.
Because it is an add-on, it builds on Advanced Ads rather than standing alone. It belongs to the same product family and extends the plugin with the selling capability described above. Site owners who already run Advanced Ads and who want to let visitors buy ad space directly are the natural audience for this extension. It is aimed at anyone who publishes ads on a WordPress site and prefers that interested advertisers can complete a purchase themselves instead of contacting the site owner first.
In summary, Selling Ads version 2.0.4 does one clearly defined thing: it enables visitors to purchase ad space on your site directly. Everything the source text says about the product points to this single function. The add-on connects the audience of a site with the option to buy advertising in a direct way, removing the need for the site owner to arrange each sale personally. For publishers using Advanced Ads who want their visitors to be able to buy ad space on the spot, this add-on provides exactly that capability.
