Sticky Ads, also known as Anchor Ads on mobile, have proven to increase income from click or performance based ads. The method is even more interesting on mobile devices, because users are already used to ads being fixed when using native apps. This plugin provides that functionality for ads and ad networks that do not offer ads fixed on the screen themselves but allow it.

The plugin comes with several placements. You can use a header bar, a footer bar, sidebar ads attached to the main wrapper, or sidebar ads attached to the window. Ads can be positioned over the content so they do not scroll, and you decide whether an ad stays sticky to the screen or is scrolled away. Sidebar ads can be centered vertically.

Further options cover the presentation of the placements. Header and footer bars can receive a background color, and users can be allowed to close a sticky placement for a specific time. A delay in seconds can be set after which the ad shows up, and ads can be displayed with effects such as show, fade, or slide. A fallback for fixed ads is included for browsers that do not support this.
