Description:

The Outlook Calendar Integration Addon extends the BookingPress appointment booking plugin for WordPress by connecting booked appointments with Outlook Calendar. It is meant for BookingPress users and staff members who want appointments added to their Outlook calendars. Setup requires an application client ID and a client secret from Azure, and the secret value is shown only one time. Once the addon is activated from the BookingPress addons area, it is configured in the settings under Integrations by entering the client ID and client secret.

Event settings let you build the event title dynamically with placeholders from the Insert Placeholder dropdowns and write a custom description with placeholders in the same way. For the event location, you pick a field from the list in the Customize Custom Fields section, and the submitted form data is mapped to the location of the Outlook Calendar event configured for the respective staff member. If a service capacity is more than one, only the last booked, rescheduled, or updated appointment location data is stored.

Each staff member connects from the Staff Members area under Integration by turning on the Outlook Calendar Integration and signing in with Outlook. The available calendars then appear in the Select Outlook Calendar dropdown, and a Refresh Calendar List button updates the list when needed.
