EffectIO Facebook Comments 2.0.5

Description:

Facebook Comments 2.0.5 is a product for WordPress sites that swaps the standard WordPress commenting system for Facebook comments. The two approaches do not run side by side; the product sets one in place of the other. Instead of the comment area that WordPress provides by default, your website shows comments from Facebook. The standard system steps aside, and Facebook takes its place as the way commenting works on your pages. Where the usual comment section would have appeared, Facebook comments appear instead.

The product works through integration. You integrate Facebook comments on your website, and that integration is what replaces the standard WordPress commenting system. This is presented as the way to take advantage of powerful and unique features, so the integration is not framed as a small change but as the step that brings those features to your site. Once Facebook comments are integrated, they stand in place of the standard WordPress commenting system across your website.

This product is aimed at people who run a WordPress website and want their comments to come from Facebook. If you currently use the standard WordPress commenting system and would rather base commenting on Facebook, this product is built for that switch. It suits site owners who have decided that Facebook comments are what they want on their pages, and who are looking for a way to make that replacement on an existing WordPress site.

The promise behind the product rests on the features that come with the integration. The vendor describes these features as powerful and unique, and ties them directly to the decision to use Facebook comments instead of the standard WordPress commenting system. The features are not described as something added on top of the usual setup; they are presented as what you get by moving commenting to Facebook. Choosing Facebook comments over the standard system is the stated route to taking advantage of them.

Main Features of Facebook Comments:

• ['Integrates Facebook comments on your website', 'Replaces the standard WordPress commenting system', 'Provides powerful and unique features']
