EffectIO GeoDirectory 2.3.40

Description:

GeoDirectory is a business directory plugin for WordPress. Its purpose is to help businesses get found through their listings by the visitors of a Geo directory website. Listings are therefore the core content of the site, and the plugin handles how those listings are organised and found. The vendor describes it as the leading WordPress business directory plugin. The plugin is built to work with any WordPress theme, so the directory takes on the look of the site it runs on rather than forcing a separate design on the pages visitors see.

The plugin is aimed at anyone who needs to run a directory website. The vendor names several project types it covers, such as a city directory, a job board, a real estate listings directory or a classifieds website. No matter which of these you need to build, GeoDirectory turns the WordPress theme it runs on into a robust search network for users. Visitors to the site can then search through the business listings that have been published there.

You can add all your business listings at once instead of entering each one separately. To present those listings, the plugin supplies a set of blocks, shortcodes and widgets, which the vendor describes as impressive. With these tools you can set up intuitive, location-based website directories. Location is central to how the directories work, since they are organised around places, and this is what connects visitors with the businesses they are searching for.

GeoDirectory is 100% compatible with WordPress page builders, including Gutenberg, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi and Oxygen. This means the directory can be put together with the same page builder used for the rest of the site, and the vendor describes this as a way to do it all stress-free and in style. Alongside the plugin, addons and themes are available from the vendor, and there are demos to try, documentation to read and a showcase of sites built with the plugin.
