Description:
The Google Calendar integration is an add-on for Booknetic, the WordPress appointment booking plugin. It is made for WordPress sites that handle bookings with Booknetic and keep their schedule in Google Calendar. The add-on connects the booking system to Google Calendar through a two-way sync. When new appointment requests are received or approved in Booknetic, they are saved to Google Calendar.
The sync works in both directions. If an appointment is rescheduled or canceled in Booknetic, the matching event is rescheduled or removed on Google Calendar automatically. When an event on Google Calendar is changed or removed, except for events created through Booknetic, the change appears instantly on the Booknetic calendar. The Calendar module shows Google Calendar events among your Booknetic appointments, marked with a Google Calendar icon, and the event color appears accordingly. Because appointments are stored in Google Calendar, you can follow your schedule and receive reminders from your smartphone.
Each staff member can work with a different Google Calendar account. Staff can add their own account to their staff profile, or you can create several calendars under a single Google account and assign them to different staff members. The same calendar can also be assigned to multiple staff members, so their availabilities are shared. Keywords let you place chosen information in the Google Calendar event form.
The vendor’s own page for Google Calendar integration for Booknetic has the full details.
