Description:

Limit Checkboxes is a Gravity Perks plugin for people who build forms with Gravity Forms. It limits how many checkboxes of a Checkbox field may be selected at any given time. You can set a minimum and a maximum limit per checkbox field, so users must pick at least the minimum and no more than the maximum. You can also span one field's limits across multiple fields in a single form.

It suits surveys where users must pick a specific number of choices, booking forms where users pick only one time, event forms where users can choose up to a set number of activities, and pizza order forms that limit topping choices. Once the maximum limit is reached, the remaining unchecked boxes are disabled until one is unchecked. The minimum limit is validated on submission, and a validation error states the minimum number that must be checked.

The plugin supports Checkbox, Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields. Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields allow setting limits out of the box, and this plugin adds live prevention of additional selections. After installing and activating it, these fields show a Perks tab in the form editor where you enable the limit and set your values.
