EffectIO MEC Virtual Events 1.3.0

Description:

MEC Virtual Events is an addon for the Modern Events Calendar plugin, and it requires MEC Lite or Pro to work. Its purpose is to display the details of virtual events to users on a WordPress site. Site owners can add an embed code for their event along with a username and password, so attendees have everything they need to join in one place.

The addon gives you control over who can see this information. You can set it up so the event details are shown to everyone, or you can limit viewing so that only users who have booked a ticket can see the link and password. You can also send these details by email after a booking is made, using specific placeholders that embed the virtual event information into the emails sent to users.

Among its key features are the ability to provide an event specific password and a private link to attendees, and to show an embedded code that users can use to join the event. A virtual event badge can be displayed on single event pages and in shortcodes across the site, and this badge can also appear in the sidebar of virtual events. The addon is aimed at anyone running virtual events with Modern Events Calendar who wants to share access details with attendees in a controlled way.

The vendor’s own page for MEC Virtual Events has the full details.

Main Features of MEC Virtual Events:

• View password specific for your events
• Provide a private link for your events to the attendees
• View an embedded code so users can use that to join the event
• Limit viewing the link and password for events to booked users
• Use email placeholders to embed virtual event information
• Display a virtual event badge in single events and shortcodes
