OptionTree is a Theme Options UI Builder for WordPress. It offers a simple way to create and save Theme Options and Meta Boxes for free or premium themes. The plugin aims to bridge the gap between WordPress developers, designers and end-users by producing fully responsive option panels and meta boxes. It ships with many advanced features, and well placed hooks and filters let you adjust every aspect of the user experience.

You build your Theme Options panel locally with an easy to use drag & drop interface, then export a functioning theme-options.php file for production use. The exported file is i18n translation ready, with your custom text domain automatically inserted. Settings are saved to the database with a unique array ID, so none of your Theme Options conflict with other themes that use OptionTree. The interface takes full advantage of the color schemes introduced in WordPress 3.8, so it looks and feels built-in.

A wide range of option types ships with the plugin, including Background, Border, Box Shadow, Checkbox, Colorpicker, CSS, Date Picker, Gallery, Google Fonts, List Item, Measurement, Numeric Slider, On/Off, Radio, Select, Slider, Social Links, Spacing, Tab, Taxonomy, Text, Textarea, Textblock, Typography and Upload. In plugin mode you upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate it through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
