When a user selects the pay by check option, they will be provided with instructions on how to make the payment on both the checkout page and the membership confirmation email. The order for their membership will be set to pending status, restricting their access to members-only content until the payment is received.

By editing the order status to success after receiving the payment, the member’s access will be unlocked. It is important to note that existing customers with a successful order in the past may have immediate access to the content, allowing for a grace period on recurring payments. However, this grace period can be removed by modifying the settings to cancel the membership immediately after the current term ends.

It is highly recommended to offer some grace period for existing customers, as new users will not gain access to any content until their first order is marked as success.
