PublishPress Checklists is a WordPress plugin that helps make sure your content is ready to go live. Using the plugin, you define tasks that must be completed before content is published. Possible tasks for posts include a minimum or maximum number of words, a required featured image, a check for broken links, a specific number of tags or categories, approval by a user in a specific role, and an OpenAI scan to make sure content uses good grammar or the correct tone.

Writers see a checklist box next to every post and page, showing the tasks they need to complete. Tasks can be recommended or required. As authors complete each task, the red X automatically turns to a green checkmark. The plugin integrates with WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, All in One SEO, Rank Math SEO, and Advanced Custom Fields, so requirements can be set based on those plugins. It also integrates with OpenAI, which can scan posts to check for the right tone, good spelling, or correct grammar.
