Scape Core 1.5.12 is a developer's toolkit for building metaboxes, custom fields, and forms for WordPress. It allows developers to easily manage meta for posts, terms, users, and comments, or to create custom option pages. The plugin is a complete rewrite of Custom Metaboxes and Fields for WordPress, and it is intended for developers who want a structured way to add fields and forms to their WordPress projects.

The toolkit works by letting developers create metaboxes for use on post edit screens, build forms for options pages, and create forms that handle user meta and display on user profile add and edit pages. It can also handle term meta and display those forms wherever the associated taxonomies are used. A flexible API means CMB forms can be used almost anywhere, including on the front-end of a site. Several field types are included out of the box, and a custom API hook allows developers to create their own field types. Repeatable fields are supported for most field types, as well as repeatable field groups. Numerous hooks and filters are available, so many aspects of the library can be modified without editing it directly. CMB2 is also safe to bundle with any project, since only the newest version in the system will load.
