EffectIO SportsPress Staff Directories 2.6.15

Description:

SportsPress Staff Directories is an extension for SportsPress Pro that lets you list the people behind your sports team on your website. While players get most of the attention, team managers, agents, coaches, and marketing professionals play an integral role in a team's success and are often the first point of contact for interviews or scheduling matches. This extension gives you a way to present all of that staff information in one place, so visitors can find the right person to contact.

The extension works by letting you add staff members through your WordPress dashboard. You go to Staff and then Add New, where you enter the staff member's name and a brief bio in the post editor. In the sidebar you can fill out team details, a phone number, and an email address. If the job position you need does not exist yet, you create it first under the Job link in the Staff menu. Once a staff member is published, you repeat the process for each additional person. After your staff members are added, you can build directories that display them together on your site.

Staff directories serve several purposes described in the source material. Fans care about more than players and scores, so listing staff helps them learn who runs the team and how to get in touch, whether to send words of support, appreciation, or an autograph request. Other teams can find contact details to schedule friendly or competitive games, and members of the press can reach a manager, coach, or PR contact directly to arrange interviews. Potential sponsors can identify who handles sponsorship and inquire without wondering if their message reached the right inbox.

The extension is aimed at sports clubs running WordPress sites with SportsPress Pro, including those managing more than one team. If you run several teams, you can create a single directory listing staff for all of them on one page, keeping contact information in a central location. If you manage one team or prefer a different structure, you can organize the directory accordingly instead.

The vendor’s own page for SportsPress Staff Directories has the full details.
