SUMO Memberships is a premium WooCommerce plugin that lets you sell membership plans and control access to content based on those plans. It supports both simple memberships and subscription memberships, with the latter requiring the SUMO Subscriptions plugin. Site owners can provide access to all users, all members, all non members, members with a particular plan, or members without a particular plan, and can restrict pages, posts, products, custom post types, and URLs.

The plugin offers several restriction types, including complete restriction, limited restriction through excerpts, and redirection. Products can be made not purchasable or given content restriction, and completely restricted products can be hidden from shop and category pages as well as navigation menus. Content restriction can also be applied by shortcodes and in the RSS feed. Membership plans can have a set duration, offer immediate or delayed access after purchase, be transferred between users, linked to other users, or linked to multiple plans, and a default plan can be assigned during account signup. Members can hold multiple plans, pause their plans, and view all purchased plans in the My Account page.

Administrators can manually add, enable, disable, pause, or cancel plans, change durations, add notes, and view member lists and log history.
