EffectIO tagDiv Mobile Theme 2.7

Description:

The tagDiv Mobile Theme is a feature designed to maximize the performance of the Newspaper theme on mobile devices. It was created after the developers looked at the common frustrations of mobile browsing, such as slow page loading speed, small text that is hard to read, low quality images, banners blocking the content, and buttons placed too close together to tap accurately. The goal behind the product is to make the mobile experience as fast and rewarding as the desktop one, since visitors expect fast page loading speed and fresh content on the devices they carry.

The Mobile Theme works as a lighter, performance optimized template included in the Newspaper package, and it loads only on mobile devices. It comes with templates for pages, posts, categories, and more, and each template has been carefully tuned to offer optimal performance and a good user experience. Posts are displayed in a predefined, clean format that includes all the features available on the main theme. On the homepage, the theme automatically renders a grid that contains a featured posts section and a latest posts section. No additional plugin is required, and the theme is built to ensure maximum performance once activated.

After activation, a new administration panel becomes available in the Theme Panel area. From there you can customize various parameters for the Mobile Theme. Installation and activation are handled in the Theme Panel under the Plugins section. The theme also works fine with the WP Super Cache plugin, and documentation is available on how to install and configure that cache plugin.

This product is intended for users of the Newspaper theme who want to serve a dedicated, optimized version of their site to people visiting from mobile devices. It suits site owners who care about loading speed and readability on phones and tablets, and who want a ready made mobile template set covering pages, posts, categories, and the homepage without needing to assemble extra plugins or build a separate mobile layout themselves.

The vendor’s own page for tagDiv Mobile Theme has the full details.
