Description:

Templatera is a template manager add-on for WPBakery Page Builder, built by the creators of the plugin. It lets you create, manage, and set access control for templates based on user roles or page post types. After installation, a new content element called Templatera appears in the WPBakery Page Builder element menu, so you can place pre-built templates as independent blocks on your pages.

The core benefit is that editing a template updates every page where its block is used. For example, a block with contact details such as phone, address, email, and a contact form can be placed on multiple pages; changing the phone or email in the original template updates all Templatera blocks at the same moment. You manage everything from one place and see changes instantly, without digging into each individual piece of layout.

This suits anyone who repeats the same content across many pages, such as footers or tabs, and wants to edit it once instead of page by page. Templates live in a new post type called vc_template and are managed through the familiar native WordPress interface.
