Description:
UsersWP Followers, version 1.2.11, is an addon for UsersWP. Its purpose is to let the users of a site follow each other, in a way that works much like following on Twitter. The addon is written for site owners who run UsersWP and want to give their members this kind of connection, where one user can choose to follow another user on the same site.
When the addon is activated, it creates two tabs in the user profile. The first of these tabs is called Followers, and it shows a list of the users who follow the current profile user. The second tab is called Following, and it shows a list of the users followed by the current profile user. Taken together, the two tabs make the follow relationships around a profile visible, showing both who follows that user and who that user follows.
The addon is 100 percent translatable, so its text can be translated into other languages. In short, it adds a follow system similar to Twitter to UsersWP profiles, with a Followers tab and a Following tab in each user profile.
Main Features of UsersWP – Followers:
- Lets users follow each other, just like on Twitter
- Adds a Followers tab to the user profile listing users who follow the current profile user
- Adds a Following tab to the user profile listing users followed by the current profile user
- Creates both profile tabs when the addon is activated
- 100% translatable
