Description:

WP ERP Asset Manager is an extension that works inside the HRM module of WP ERP. It lets a business manage assets allocated to employees and keep track. Admins create assets with an item name, asset type, item code, model number, description, serial or license info, manufacturer, price, and warranty and expiry dates. Categories group different types of assets, and several items can be added as a group with the same name and category.

An asset can be marked allotable, which makes it available for employees to request. Items not marked allotable stay logged in and remain accessible only to admins. Admins can allot assets from the allotments panel or from an employee profile, and they can set a return date. Employees can request assets from their profile, request several items, and describe an item that is not on the list. Requests stay pending until an admin approves or rejects them.

Admins receive requests in the requests panel, where they can approve with a given date, a return date, and usage instructions, or reject with a reason. Employees see the status, instructions, and messages in their dashboard. Admins can undo rejected requests and disapprove confirmed requests at any time. Employees can ask to return assigned assets, and admins receive those return requests under allotments.
