Description:
WP Sheet Editor – Automations 1.1.0 is an add-on for the WP Sheet Editor plugin family. It works alongside the WP Sheet Editor spreadsheets, which are used to manage content such as posts, pages, WooCommerce products, orders, users, coupons, and other WordPress data in a spreadsheet interface. This add-on provides a set of advanced settings that control how automation and background jobs behave when they run through those spreadsheets. The guide it comes with assumes that the Automations plugin has already been installed and set up, and that a WP Sheet Editor spreadsheet is already in use for managing content.
The advanced settings are found by going to Settings, then Advanced Settings, then Automations, inside any of the WP Sheet Editor spreadsheets. From there, users can configure how many rows are processed per batch for four separate operations: imports, exports, bulk edits, and saving cells. Each of these fields works the same way. If the field is left empty, the plugin uses the values defined in the speed and performance tab. The purpose of these individual fields is to allow different settings for automation and background jobs compared to the manual operations performed directly in the spreadsheet interface.
The settings also include options for the log file. By default, the plugin creates a log file containing information in a friendly format that anyone can read. There is a debugging mode that can be activated to add more information to the log, which can be used by developers or by the WP Sheet Editor support team to troubleshoot issues. A separate setting controls how often the log is updated in the scheduled jobs table. If left empty, the log is updated every 30 seconds, and users can enter a number of seconds instead. A lower number means the log refreshes more often and uses more server resources.
After making changes to the advanced settings, users need to click on Save to apply them. Support is available through live chat during business hours, or by contacting the team by email. The add-on is aimed at WordPress site owners and administrators who already use WP Sheet Editor spreadsheets and want finer control over how their automated jobs process rows.
The vendor’s own page for WP Sheet Editor – Automations has the full details.
