File Downloads is an extension for the WP Travel Engine plugin that adds downloadable files to the trip detail page. Tour operators can use it to share documents such as digital brochures, government rules and policies, company brochures, notices to travelers, offline maps and guides, public transport and airport information, language handbooks, and high-quality photos. Files can be managed globally or per trip, and users can view them or save them offline.

The number of files is unlimited, and files are added through the default WordPress Media Library, which makes them simple to find, upload, and manage. A shortcode lets you list the files anywhere on the site. Supported file types include PDF, DOC, DOCX, images, and text files, and files can be sorted in a custom order. Settings let you combine global and trip specific files, force global files to appear, and enable instant download with one click.

Multi-select upload lets you pick several files at once, uploaded files can be renamed in the File Uploader, and a quick preview is available in the browser for images, text files, and PDF files. A wrong file can be replaced in one click, repeated files are omitted automatically, and an Add Global File option allows selective additions.
