Description:

wpForo User Custom Fields is an addon for the wpForo forum plugin that extends the forum profile system into an advanced user profile builder. It is aimed at online communities and membership sites and in most cases removes the need for separate profile builder plugins. The addon requires wpForo 2.3.4 or higher and installs like any other WordPress plugin.

Drag and drop form builders cover the registration, account settings and members search forms, and a similar tool manages the profile page layout. You can set rows and columns and place fields anywhere in a form. Field types include text, email, phone, URL, date, color picker, number, password, drop down, radio, checkbox, textarea, file upload, avatar, usergroup and HTML. Fields offer options such as label, placeholder, icon, required state and admin note. Each field has its own view and edit permission per usergroup and can be shown or hidden based on those permissions.

The addon integrates with the Profile Builder plugin, so fields chosen there appear in the members directory, on profile pages, next to author information in topics and posts, and in the members search form. Backup, export and import tools cover all settings, and BuddyPress user custom field data can be migrated to wpForo. After activation, configuration starts under Forums, then Member Fields.
