EffectIO WPSHAPERE 8.0.3

Description:

WPShapere is a WordPress admin theme plugin that lets you customise the WordPress admin area. The changelog shows it has developed over many versions into a tool that covers the admin menu, login page, dashboard and editor screens. It works alongside WordPress core features and is aimed at site owners and administrators who want control over how the admin interface looks and what parts of it are visible to different users.

The plugin provides a range of customisation options. You can adjust the admin menu, including padding, font size, menu icons and a logo for the collapsed menu state. There are options to hide the admin bar from the back end, hide admin notices from non-admin users and specific admin users, and set text colours for body text and footer text. Login page customisation includes theme design presets, separate colour options for the login page button, and improved styling for the WordPress admin login page. The plugin also supports the WordPress block editor and Gutenberg, with fixes for the editor header, full screen mode and the WordPress logo shown there.

WPShapere includes a companion addon called WPSPowerbox. This addon adds further features, such as applying Google Fonts to the admin theme, hiding users from the users list, hiding plugins from the plugins list, redirecting users to a URL of your choice after login for any user role, adding unlimited widgets to the WordPress dashboard, and hiding unwanted metaboxes from posts and pages. The addon is described as a way to go beyond the limitations of WordPress when customising the admin theme.

The plugin is maintained with regular updates. Recent versions added an Elementor built WordPress admin dashboard, a new admin theme called Liquido, support for WordPress 6.2 and PHP 8, improved support for WordPress Multisite setups, and updated the Fontawesome icons library to version 5. Other updates addressed multisite network options, dashboard widget listing, admin menu icon alignment, user avatar display, and compatibility with plugins such as Learndash and BuddyBoss. The changelog also records fixes for CSS issues, login page responsiveness and admin menu scrolling across many releases.

The vendor’s own page for WPSHAPERE has the full details.
