Description:

BuddyPress Editable Activity is a plugin for BuddyPress based social networks that allows users to edit their own activity posts and activity comments. Editing happens in place, so members can correct or update what they have published without leaving the activity stream. Site admins can edit all activity and comments from the front end, and the site admin controls the time duration during which editing is allowed as well as what can be edited. Setting the time duration to zero means there is no time limit on editing an activity or comment.

The plugin works with all themes and is responsive, including a mobile view for the edit popup form. Since version 1.3.0 it supports visual editing of content. Version 2.0.0 brought a complete rewrite with a new editing experience that uses a modal dialog box instead of inline editing, aimed at making the plugin work with all BuddyPress themes. It also offers better support for BP Nouveau, BuddyBoss and Community Builder.

Installation is done as a normal plugin, and on multisite you can either network activate it or activate it on the main site. The options are managed from Dashboard, Settings, BP Editable Activity, where the time duration and other settings can be controlled. The current version is 2.0.6, tested with BuddyPress 14.3.4 and compatible with BuddyPress 8.0+.

The vendor’s own page for BuddyPress Editable Activity has the full details.
